Scope of the Papers

ISMICT'25 is not the usual conference. The aim is to bring together worldwide academic research, private companies and end-users to co-design the future of health. The 19th International Symposium on Medical Information and Communication Technology (ISMICT) to be held in Florence, Italy, on May 28-30, 2025. The theme is Designing the future of health. Papers are invited on topics including, but not limited to, the following:

Submission Guidelines

Papers submitted to ISMCIT 2025 must be original, not previously published or accepted for publication elsewhere, and they must not be submitted to any other event or publication during the entire review process. Paper submissions should follow the IEEE template for conferences. A maximum of 6 pages (10-point font) are allowed for each regular paper and a maximum of 3 pages for each short paper (Work-in-progress paper or Demo paper), all figures and references included. Submitted papers will undergo a peer review process, coordinated by the Technical Program Committee. Only accepted regular papers will be submitted for inclusion into IEEE Xplore subject to meeting IEEE Xplore's scope and quality requirements.

IEEE reserves the right to exclude a paper from distribution after the conference if the paper is not presented at the conference.
